With the founding of San Diego Sheet Metal Works in 1905, our diversified metal-working enterprise was launched. Propelled by the vision of family, employees and supply-chain associates, we earned a reputation as one of the most innovative and progressive sheet metal facilities in the western United States.

In 1971, Southwest Fabricators began serving the marine industry, with ship-repair as its primary business through 1990. When defense spending decreased and the demand for marine work declined, the company moved into the production of precision sheet metal enclosures and integration.
